This is Morton Koopa Jr. and Roy Koopa rocking it out, was made for the 2D-Challenge over at Gameartisans.org. The theme to do boss from a 8Bit/32-bit game. We just though it would be fun to do some of the Koopalings, and settled for Morton and Roy. Tried to do them a bit more "realistic" (yeah

) in a way. Maybe a bit more grown up to, like the big man Bowser himself.

Was fun to do, might do all of them over time we'll see

*Morton sure got 'em grazy eyelashes that he had in the original look
**Roy was always the Koopaling that screamed the 90s to you, those shades! I thought a flying V Guitar would go well with that

the model is a "Bowser" rather than a GIbson it seems!

The Koopalings should be in Mario Kart Wii U.
They need to be playable in something.

Thanks! Haha yeah they turned out pretty badass! Morton wasn't supposed to look all metal at first but Roy with his guitar kinda made a singer with a mic outta him

Yeah, I thought this was cool, because you drew both of the bigger koopaling brothers, I don't think Nintendo realized that, plus their battle styles in Super Mario World is the same. I'm also sure Roy respects his brother Morton Jr. more than the others, probably because he is just as big and tough as him, and I love how Nintendo did a KISS style star over one of Morton Junior's eyes, it really makes your picture work, because of that already there feature. Roy is one of my favorite koopalings too, so in all you get an S rank for this picture. Nice.
